Something happened in Bierum


made during the BIERUM residency
For a residency created by my fellow student Anne Kloosterhuis, we stayed in the village of Bierum, Groningen for a week in the summer of 2021. The vague border between the strange behaviour of the artist and the actually planned performances inspired me to make "a little performance"  and “SCHOEN”shown at the ijzerblok studios.

SCHOEN

A short movie about one haircut in two places and an animal, named schoen, dying between those two places

The haircut was perfomative. The dying animal was not. Without the animal dying this film would have boring. This proved to me: FOLLOW, DONT SEARCH
